Location
Felanitx was the first wine-growing area on Mallorca. At the end of the 18th century, different types of vines were planted in the municipality, covering an area of around 2,200 hectares. In this town there are some shopping facilities, sports facilities and a health centre. Market day in Felanity is Sunday. It takes 37 min to get to the airport and about 45 min to the centre of Palma. In 15 min you get to the nearest coastal town, Portocolom. The beaches Cala Domingos, Cala Murada, Cala Marcal, Cala Sa Nau, Cala Mitjana and the bays of Cala d'Or can be reached in about 20 min. Portocolom and Cala d'Or also inspire with the numerous restaurants and bars as well as the fantastic harbours. The Vall d'Or golf course, with its magnificent views of the sea, is only a 15-minute drive from your front door.
